Thursday, August 22 from 7 PM to 8.15 PM.
The Buddha said that there is a perfect midpoint for everything – a neutral position where we are not leaning in any direction and therefore perfectly balanced and extremely light. Through experimentation, we can find those perfect midpoints in our emotions, our thoughts, our relationships and our activities. This workshop will explore what throws us off balance and what draws us back to the perfect midpoint.
Facilitator Mary Friedland has been practicing the art of balance through Raja Yoga Meditation for more than 30 years. She coordinates activities of the Brahma Kumaris in Chicago and the Midwest, teaches meditation, and conducts workshops on practical applications of spirituality.
