Anything that can be healthy can also be toxic. This includes thoughts, feelings, beliefs and even relationships. Toxins that accumulate at the level of consciousness will infect our actions and interactions, and ultimately complicate our chances of future happiness.
Please join us in stepping away from our busy lives to take stock of our inner toxins. There is an art to doing an internal detox that cleans and calms the mind in a way that is both gentle and thorough. The art of detox is a life skill that keeps us healthy, happy and productive through the ups and downs of life.
This one-day retreat is open to anyone ages 18-35. Continental breakfast and vegetarian lunch will be provided.
Facilitator Trish Summerfield, an educator from New Zealand, who has spent the last 20 years in Asia. She is a trainer of Living Values Program and has facilitated over 140 trainings for educators, psychologists and social workers. She also developed a series of 140 TV shows on values and is the author of 3 books. Trish teaches meditation and gives workshops on self-development throughout Asia and the Pacific. Her core practice of 32 years is Raja Yoga Meditation .
