Thoughts are like seeds. Loving and happy thoughts produce beautiful flowers and nourishing fruits; thoughts that are spiteful and depressed produce painful brambles or poisonous weeds. We can master our life by producing ‘fruits’ which are wholesome, attractive and nourishing to the soul.
The aim of this course is to give you an understanding of the nature of thought. Topics covered include:

Stress-free Living
Stress has been identified as a leading cause of many health problems. Modern stress affects nearly all of us at some point in our lives. Regardless of its origins, stress drains our physical, emotional and mental energy.
The Stress-free Living course will:
- Help you identify the triggers of stress
- Provide knowledge and tools to calm your mind and stabilize your emotions, so that you can choose how, why and when to respond, rather than just reacting
- Learn how to relax
- Increase your inner capacity for dealing with situations peacefully
- Learn how to embrace rather than fear change, and how to manage stress – regardless of external circumstances and situations
Overcoming Anger
Anger is one of the most dangerous emotions yet one of the easiest to understand. This two-session course will offer practical methods for diffusing anger instead of expressing it, and offer activities and exercises for self-transformation.
The sessions will explore:
- What causes anger
- How to interrupt the pattern of anger
- How to transform angry thoughts into positive and productive thoughts
True Self Esteem
True self-esteem enables us to consistently respond positively to life, no matter what it throws at you. True self esteem comes from understanding and appreciating your own value, and thus naturally feeling worthy of happiness. With true self-esteem, you can progress in life with spirituality, empowerment and self-leadership.
This course looks at how to remove blocks to self-esteem. The course includes:
- Understanding self-esteem and understanding yourself
- Accepting yourself and your emotions
- Dealing with Automatic Negative Thoughts (ANTs)
- Understanding and dealing with what keeps self-esteem low
- Creating positive power
Saturday Workshops
One Saturday each month there is a workshop on some practical application of spiritual study. These are dynamic sessions to explore, discuss and experiment with using spiritual concepts in everyday life. The workshops are generally in person only. Lunch is served, outdoors in the nice weather.
